Getting from here to there

A lot of the things I’ve learned come from the game of basketball. I spent so much of my youth on a court running, jumping, and sweating. Haha. Instruction and directions being barked at the speed of light in order to prepare me for a game.

What I didn’t understand at the moment was that the game I was getting prepped for was one larger than the ones happening that week. The game was life. This quote (like many others) has been said to me in various ways. Ultimately understanding the difference between moving quickly and deliberately verses in a hurried impatiently can be the difference in the desired outcome and doing something again.

Rest assured.  In this lifetime, you will continue to repeat the lesson until you show that you’ve learned it.  let that sink in.  You will repeat the the lesson until you show that you’ve learned it.  Then it’s onto the next lesson…
