Being good at anything is hard. It takes a lot of work. Being great requires another level of work. It takes a sacrifice. You won’t see your friends and loved ones as much as you like. You won’t eat regularly. Your sleeping will not come at normal intervals. When you start breaking it down, most people will not want to be great anymore. They will hope for and shoot for good. And not even being really good. They will settle on being just good enough to not be seen as not good enough.
