BIG DREAMER

It’s hard to fit big dreams into a small life

Les Brown

I remember being a young boy with a vivid imagination. I was curious about the world around me. I always sensed there was so much more going on than I could see, so mentally I would fill in the blanks.

I’ve said it time and time again. Life has a way of beating a spark out of you. That is, if you allow it. Just the act of assuming more responsibility seems to push some dreams out of the way. We might think that it’s just the result of being an adult. Whatever the reason- remember to dream.

When you get down about your life, the world, or you place in it. Go to those dreams to excite you and give you a direction to go in.

Remember, for a person who dreams as big and vividly as you do- your life wasn’t meant to be lived small.

  1. I remember I was producing a shoot for Major League Baseball’s Reviving Baseball in Inner Cities program and Harold Reynolds addressed all the youth teams in attendance with the following standing out: “Little dreams return small results. Big dreams return big results.”
