Things are never easy

You cannot wish for both strong character and an easy life. The price of each is the other

Every day we make all kinds of choices. The decisions, in those moments affect us at different speeds and times. Sometimes the are made in a sound well thought out manner. At other times with urgency or with haste. Ultimately we have to live with them. I do so with the best of outcome in mind.

I’ve said this statement a lot. Especially lately- I’m reluctant to wish and hope. At times, the wishing and hoping feels like I’m giving up power.

I would strive to change this quote a bit- ” You cannot work towards strong character and an easy life.”

Choose wisely. Choose with as much heartfelt conviction you can muster. Things are never easy; they just look lie that sometimes.
