When I speak of my journey it is obvious I’ve been quite nomadic. I generally lead with this info as a way to let people in. As a way to say- I’m familiar with navigating varied perspectives of the people I encounter. Sometimes I feel challenged to limit my openness; of my willingness to engage.

The down side to letting people in is not being able to control what they do- how they use the insights they may obtain. How a person will knowingly or unknowingly manipulate you by activating certain emotions. The upside is that whenever you are confident- no, comfortable enough to be yourself, you have the possibility of real connections. Of find and/or strengthening your tribe.

So many of us have the shared experience of going through rough times. For whatever reason. I have learned from my own experience that as good as it feels at times to connect and feel like you’re not doing all the heavy lifting by yourself; sometimes disconnecting and traveling by yourself is equally as beneficial.

It’s difficult. difficult doesn’t mean bad.
